Hill Country Harmony: Sandy, Texas
In the rolling hills of Sandy, Texas, we had the privilege of building not one, but two custom homes for friends who are like family. These clients relocated to the Texas Hill Country from out of state and dreamed of creating homes that reflected their personalities, lifestyles, and a shared sense of community—all while maintaining individual privacy.
Aaron Hominick worked closely with both clients throughout the entire design process. Tailoring each home to the client’s unique preferences, from floor plans to finishes, ensuring that both spaces felt individual, personal and authentic.
Beyond the interiors, a key part of the project was site planning. Aaron guided the clients in selecting the locations of their homes on the property so that the houses would complement one another. The result is a thoughtful layout that balances privacy with connection—a place where neighbors can feel close, yet each family enjoys their own quiet retreat.
The project exemplifies how custom design and thoughtful planning can create harmony on a shared property. By respecting both individuality and community, these two homes stand as a testament to the possibilities of living in the Texas Hill Country, where friendship, family, and design come together seamlessly.
