Courthouse Sage: Designed for Gathering
Courthouse Sage was born from a clear and inspiring vision—our clients wanted a home built for connection and entertaining, without sacrificing warmth, character, or privacy. Every design decision was shaped by how the home would be lived in, shared, and enjoyed.
At the heart of the house is a layout that supports hosting with ease. A dedicated butler’s kitchen allows the main living spaces to stay open, calm, and welcoming while still functioning effortlessly during gatherings. The primary kitchen flows naturally into indoor and outdoor areas, making the home feel expansive and social without being overwhelming.
Because Courthouse Sage sits on a city lot, thoughtful planning was essential. Significant care went into orienting the home and shaping the outdoor spaces to feel private and intentional. Strategic walls, landscaping, and architectural elements were used to shield views from the neighboring backyard, creating a sense of retreat that’s often hard to achieve in an small lot setting.
A detached guest casita adds another layer of flexibility, providing privacy and comfort for visitors while maintaining the overall flow of the property. It complements the main house without competing with it, reinforcing the idea of separate yet connected spaces.
Courthouse Sage is a home designed with intention—balancing hospitality, privacy, and thoughtful architecture. It reflects how careful planning and collaboration can transform a city lot into a warm, inviting place made for gathering.
