Aaron Hominick, Builder
Aaron is a second-generation builder. With a background rooted in both hands-on construction and engineering, he brings a thoughtful, problem-solving approach to every project.
After graduating from the University of Texas in 2005 with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Aaron officially joined the family business. Today, he works closely with clients from the earliest stages of a project—helping evaluate site locations, develop custom floor plans, and guide key design decisions. His role often extends beyond the structure itself, overseeing site development, infrastructure installation, and the technical planning required to bring each home to life.
In 2009, Aaron and his wife, Afton, made Fredericksburg their home. Outside of work, Aaron stays busy chasing after his three young daughters, but he also enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, and pursuing his interest in general aviation.
Bradley Durst, Project Manager
Bradley joined the Hominick Homes team in 2018 after a decade-long career in law enforcement, bringing with him a strong sense of leadership, accountability, and attention to detail. He serves as the on-site project manager for Hominick Homes, overseeing daily operations and ensuring each build progresses smoothly from start to finish.
Working closely with clients on a day-to-day basis, Bradley approaches every project with patience and diligence. He maintains clear communication while coordinating our trusted family of subcontractors in a timely and organized manner, helping ensure quality craftsmanship and on-time completion.
A Fredericksburg native, Bradley lives locally with his wife, Brittney. When he’s not checking and double-checking every detail of the building process, you’ll likely find him ranching, camping with his family, or practicing baseball with his son.
Rachel Hominick, Office Manager
Rachel graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in Theater Technical Production. Like Aaron, she joined the family business shortly after completing her college education, bringing with her a strong foundation in organization, coordination, and behind-the-scenes problem solving.
Her role encompasses a wide range of administrative responsibilities that are vital to the success of each project. Since 2007, Rachel has carefully organized, managed, and verified every supply order and invoice—an attention to detail that plays a key role in maintaining accurate budgets and ensuring projects stay on schedule from start to finish.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending her free time playing the piano, creating art, and reading, pursuits that reflect her creativity and thoughtful approach both professionally and personally.
